“RF7 have been around seemingly for ages, but here the So-Cal outfit offers 19 incendiary tunes in an assured style combining material from their original line-up on one side, and still more tracks on the flip, representing their most recent personnel. Side A is more anthemic, with more of an LA feel, and even a tinge of surf in some of the guitar riffing-not dissimilar to very early Black Flag. Side B is uniformly less melodic, placing the emphasis on tunes that veer closer to HC, especially on ones like “Old Enough to Die” and “No Rest of the Addicted”. All in all, this Lp offers strikingly different sides of RF7, and both have more than their share of compelling moments-though I prefer the first side.” MRR #317
