Any demo packages that contain glossy press photos, cdrs with unmixed new material with no vocals, eight pages worth of lyrics typed out in microsoft word, stupid bios listing the "big" bands you've "shared the stage" with, oh so sincere mission statements attempting to convince me that your band would be a "good fit" for the label and how you are going to "bust your ass touring to support your release," will be laughed at and tossed into the trash can.
I do not have an A&R team, I do not scout out hott new talent. Remember that scene in AIRHEADS where Judd Nelson refuses to take the demo from Brendan Fraser? Pretend it's like that, unless of course:
1. Adam Sandler is in your band
2. The only song on your demo is a Reagan Youth cover
Otherwise, please do not waste your stamps.
